In a figurine set like this one, it is to be expected that not all figures are drop-dead gorgeous items with amazing sentimental value in terms of the movie.

Yes, that is a basket of corn. Corn. Like the vegetable.

While corn does play a bit of a role in the movie, especially at the end, there are so many other things that could have been a point of focus in terms of My Neighbor Totoro. But instead we have corn.

To be fair, it really does look like Studio Ghibli corn, to be precise.
