In "celebration" of our one-year anniversary of Metro Manila being under community quarantine, today's #BaduyPride episode was all about the board game where we actually get to beat diseases - Pandemic! This now-classic 2008 cooperative board game was created by Matt Leacock and supports 2-4 players or 2-5 players or 1-6 players, depending on which expansions you own.
We totally love this game and it stands as one of the best cooperative games out there that really presents a worthy challenge for players. And as much as the expansions all add additional layers of difficulty and challenge, they also add a lot of fun and new nuances and story elements that make each game even more unique and fulfilling. We've deferred from playing during this extended lockdown, but maybe we should dust off the game again for comeback sessions.
