Vlog Ep. 289: Firefly: The Game

After a period away, we're back to recording new #BaduyPride episodes and we started with a dive into the Firefly: The Game. Originally released in 2013, this 1-4 player game was created by Aaron Dill, John Kovaleski, and Sean Sweigart and published by Gale Force Nine. The game has had a good number of expansions until 2017 and we're still in the process of catching up with this particular game line.

This may be one of our favorite franchise-related board games in recent years and may be an essential acquisition for anyone who loves the Firefly franchise and wants to experience the show as a tabletop experience. It isn't necessarily the greatest game ever, but it's still a very strong one and we enjoyed the experience a lot. As we mentioned in the live stream, the game feels like a somewhat more streamlined Fortune & Glory (albeit a very different game system) but one that's very much a Firefly experience. And we're looking forward to playing more games in the 'Verse in the months and years to come.

While we chose today's topic, we're always open to suggestions! If you have ideas for future video discussions, feel free to fill out this Google Form and your idea may be featured as the focus for an episode!
